California Gasoline Statistics & Data

August 29, 2016 - Up again for a second week, prices are still on the rise. Regular is higher than last week's price by less then a cent.

The average price in California for regular gasoline increased 0.7-cent from the previous week. The average statewide price for regular was $2.709. Mid-grade and premium prices increased as well.

The national average for self-serve regular is at $2.237, up 8.7 cents from the previous week.This is 47.2 cents lower than the price of regular in California.
