August 24, 2015 - Riding the washboard ups and downs. Regular is down over last week's price by a several cents.

The average price in California for regular gasoline decreased 10.1-cents from the previous week. The average statewide price for regular was $3.483. Mid-grade and premium prices decreased as well.

The national average for self-serve regular is at $2.637, down 7.9 cents from the previous week.This is 84.6 cents lower than the price of regular in California.
