March 02, 2015 - Continuing to see the effects from the refinery explosion, in skyrocketing gasoline prices. This is the Fourth week that regular has made another large jump above last week's price.
The average price in California for regular gasoline increased 45.9-cents from the previous week. The average statewide price for regular was $3.418. Mid-grade and premium prices increased as well.
The national average for self-serve regular is at $2.473, up 14.1 cents from the previous week.This is 94.5 cents lower than the price of regular in California.
